Job Description

Sr. Electrification Engineer
Overview:
 We are seeking a Sr. Electrification Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize high-voltage electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles. This role focuses on vehicle-level integration of high-voltage components and electro-hydraulic systems, rather than component development. The position offers exposure to a variety of vehicles and applications, including advanced electrification initiatives.
Work Location:
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
  • Pay Rate: $60-70/hr
  • Office location: Oshkosh, WI
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, and integrate high-voltage electrical systems into heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and investigations according to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and business partners to ensure successful integration.
  • Provide technical assistance during prototype, pilot, and production builds.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, designers, or technicians on shared projects.
  • Manage multiple projects of moderate complexity.
  • Document and report on designs, testing, and integration activities.
  • Support process improvement, problem resolution, and technical innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle electrification and high-voltage system integration.
  • Experience integrating electro-hydraulic pumps or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with automotive high-voltage systems, power electronics, and energy storage.
  • Knowledge of CAN/SAE J1939 protocols.
  • Exposure to controls software and programming languages.
  • Automotive high-voltage training or certification(s).

  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and provide solutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and work with external partners.
  • Leadership skills with experience guiding or mentoring others.
Work Environment:
  • Mix of office and hands-on vehicle integration work.
  • May require standing, walking, sitting, and working with tools or equipment.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 25 lbs.
  • Work may involve frequent task changes and a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines.
