About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Repair / Maintenance Technician to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working hands-on, and keeping production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems at the component level
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment downtime emergencies
- Use testing equipment such as digital multimeters, amp meters, ohm meters, and phase rotation meters
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Maintain and repair motors, variable frequency drives, control systems, and alarms
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, AC drives, and servo drives
- Calibrate analog and digital devices
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures and ensure OSHA compliance
- Document maintenance work, repairs, and system updates
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to identify root causes and improve performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience with PLCs, drives, and control systems preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift 10 to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, fumes, and moving parts
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and move throughout shift
- Must follow all OSHA and safety protocols
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must be reliable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
