Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join their Medical ICU team in Jackson, MI. This full-time, 13-week contract offers a competitive pay rate of $60.55/hr and an opportunity to provide specialized care in a high-acuity stepdown environment.
Position Details:

- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry setting.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to monitor and treat patients requiring advanced cardiac and medication drip management.
- Perform continuous patient assessments and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment plans.
- Administer and monitor critical IV medication drips in accordance with hospital protocols.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 2+ recent years of PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry experience required
- Active Michigan RN license
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (AHA required)
- Experience managing critical medication drips required
Preferred:
- BSN degree preferred
