Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to join their LDRPN Unit in West Bloomfield, MI. This full-time, 13-week contract offers a competitive pay rate of $58.36/hr and the opportunity to provide expert maternal and newborn care in a dynamic hospital setting.
Position Details:

- Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 shifts/week, 12-hour shifts)
- Start Date: 03/31/2025
- End Date: 06/28/2025
- Provide leadership and coordination in delivering high-quality, compassionate maternal and newborn care.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to support labor, postpartum, and special care patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and patient progress to ensure a safe and effective delivery process.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Active Michigan RN license
- BLS and NRP Certifications required
- At least 1 year of Cerner experience required
- Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care nursing
Preferred:
- BSN degree preferred
