Salary: $80, 000 - $88, 000 per year
Mileage: .58 cents per mile reimbursement/15-30-mile radius.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8: 00am - 5: 00pm – (Friday On Call Rotation) / 1 day in the office throughout the work week

Acute Care RN Job Responsibilities:
- Complete an initial, comprehensive, and ongoing comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs. Provide a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness.
- Responsible for a 15-30 patient case load
- Assess and evaluate patient’ s status by initiating plan of care, regularly re-evaluating patient, and family/caregiver needs, and initiating the plan of care and making necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Develop a care plan that establishes goals based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions, including the patient and the family in the planning process.
- Initiate the appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician’ s plan of care.
- Provide health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan and assist the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitate the patient’ s efforts toward self-sufficiency and optional comfort care.
- Ensure that arrangements for equipment and other necessary items and services are available.
Acute Care RN Job Requirements:
- Active/unrestricted RN License in the state of Iowa or Compact License.
- 2+ years of experience in a Hospice/Home Health setting in a Case Management role. (Preferred)
- Active BLS
- Must have a valid Driver's License and can provide proof of insurance.
