Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Seed Health Technician to join their team in Brooks, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory environment focused on supporting seed health testing for global agriculture.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Seed Health Technician to join their team in Brooks, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory environment focused on supporting seed health testing for global agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standardized procedures for detecting and quantifying bacteria, viruses, and fungi in vegetable seeds
- Apply aseptic techniques and hygiene procedures to maintain quality and containment of plant pathogens
- Accurately record and enter test results
- Carry out repetitive lab tasks with precision and consistency (e.g., grinding seeds, washing dishes, autoclaving materials)
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Recognize and report deviations from procedures
- Support lab improvement initiatives and projects
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Science, Biology, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of laboratory technician experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Reliable team contributor with a commitment to quality
- Laboratory environment (including growth rooms and restricted facilities)
- Prolonged standing, sitting, and bending performing repetitive tasks
- Lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 15–20 lbs. frequently
- Handling of quarantine plant pathogens
