PLEASE NOTE: This role is for First Shift, Friday thru Monday, 4 ten-hour days,:00 am until 5:30pm. Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Elyria, OH. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products are manufactured within strict specifications and meet the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with plant personnel across departments—including production, maintenance, shipping/receiving, engineering, and supply chain—to resolve quality concerns and uphold compliance.Key Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $21/hour

- Perform physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Inspect incoming samples and raw materials for accuracy and conformance.
- Partner with QA team members and cross-functional departments to troubleshoot and communicate quality issues.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and complete SAP transactions as needed.
- Follow detailed written procedures and lab protocols with strong attention to detail.
- College coursework in Chemistry or a related science field preferred.
- Prior experience in a lab or quality control setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions precisely.
- Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Contract Role: Long-term with potential for extension or direct hire.
- Compensation: $21/hour
- Schedule: Full-time
