Pay Rate: $45 – $66.41 per hour depending on experience, qualifications, and project scheduling background
Contract: 2-Year Contract (Potential Extension or Direct Hire)

OverviewOur client is seeking a Project Scheduler / Project Coordinator to support scheduling and coordination of purchasing and sales activities within a project-driven environment. This role will assist with maintaining project schedules, organizing incoming work requests, and supporting operational reporting including data used for profit and loss tracking.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in project coordination, scheduling, and operational support within a structured enterprise environment.
The position works in a hybrid environment in Detroit and operates under general supervision while following established processes and scheduling procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating incoming purchases and sales activities
  • Maintain and update project schedules, timelines, and tracking documentation
  • Support project teams by organizing scheduling data and ensuring timelines remain accurate
  • Provide data used for financial tracking and profit and loss reporting
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure scheduling information aligns with project requirements
  • Maintain documentation and scheduling records within internal systems
  • Support project coordination activities including reporting, scheduling updates, and data tracking
  • Follow established processes and operational guidelines while supporting project execution
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in project scheduling, project coordination, operations support, or administrative roles
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work under general supervision
  • Strong communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams
Preferred SkillsExperience with one or more of the following tools is a plus:
  • SAP (scheduling, purchasing, or project tracking modules)
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Project
  • Primavera P6
  • ERP or project management systems
  • Data tracking or operational reporting tools
