This role manages all aspects of waste management—including hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and industrial waste streams—ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting client sustainability goals.
As the onsite leader, you will coordinate transportation, storage, and disposal logistics, work closely with clients and vendors, and champion a culture of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily waste management operations including hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and industrial waste.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for waste transportation, profiling, manifesting, and bulk/drum loading.
- Act as the primary liaison between client, vendors, and WM to resolve service and compliance issues.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through inspections, reporting, and safety initiatives.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Manage financial obligations such as invoicing, reporting, and contract compliance.
- Train and support site personnel to meet environmental and safety standards.
- Occasionally perform labor-intensive tasks, including drum collection and bulking.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Prior experience in waste management or hazardous waste handling a plus
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to perform both strategic oversight and occasional hands-on tasks
- Steel-toe boots required
- Competitive hourly pay: $31.58 – $40.28
- Overtime eligibility (OT1.3 / DT1.6)
- Stable schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift
