Hours: 8: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00 Per Hour
Location: Irwindale, CA
Position Overview: Posts payments, transfers any remaining balances to the appropriate party, and makes any needed adjustments. Applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts based on explanation of benefits and contractual guidelines. Balances transactions posted to the billing system. Employee will be responsible for posting manual and electronic insurance payments in a fast-paced team environment.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience with insurance payment posting and follow-up to patient accounts in professional billing.
- Must have extensive knowledge at reading and interpreting insurance EOBs.
- EPIC billing system experience is a plus.
