Location: Tifton, GA (3524 Hwy 41 South)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time | 100% Onsite
Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP (Pending Medical and Drug Screening)
About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a reliable and safety-driven Warehouse Operator to support critical day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and internal material movements. This position plays a vital role in inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and warehouse cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of warehouse and forklift experience and a strong commitment to operational excellence and team collaboration.

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a reliable and safety-driven Warehouse Operator to support critical day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and internal material movements. This position plays a vital role in inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and warehouse cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of warehouse and forklift experience and a strong commitment to operational excellence and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping & Receiving: Load/unload inbound and outbound trucks; verify shipments against paperwork including lot #s, QTY, Article #s, and BOLs.
- Inventory Movement: Safely transport approved inventories of raw materials, AIs, and finished goods to designated storage or production areas.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately complete warehouse movement paperwork; follow FIFO practices; support DOT, IMDG, IATA, and FIFRA transport compliance.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely; complete daily inspections and log reports. In-house certification will be provided post-hire.
- Housekeeping: Take ownership of assigned warehouse zones; maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant environment.
- SAP Utilization: Review and update inventory status in SAP; print receipts/delivery notes; assist in resolving discrepancies with minimal supervision.
- Cross-Functional Support: Serve as backup for warehouse assistant and supervisor roles as needed; assist with warehouse shutdown and other duties.
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- 1–5 years of warehouse experience
- 1–5 years of forklift experience (in-house certification provided)
- Strong math, communication, and documentation skills
- Physical ability to work safely in a fast-paced, warehouse/production environment
- Experience with inventory counts, SAP (or similar ERP), and shipping/receiving protocols
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and medical exam
- Must work 100% onsite at the Tifton facility
- HAZWOPER, DOT, and FIFRA training will be provided
