Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with expertise in wound care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of wound care management and treatment, including chronic wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wound complications. Additionally, extensive experience with skin substitutes (grafting) is highly preferred. Join our team of dedicated professionals to provide patient-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes!
Location: Metro Detroit
Pay Rate: $130, 000- $150, 000 dependent upon experience
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including diagnosis and development of individualized care plans.
- Perform advanced wound care procedures, including but not limited to debridement, dressing changes, and compression therapy.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention and management strategies.
- Monitor and document wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and durable medical equipment as appropriate.
- Stay updated on the latest wound care practices and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Job Requirements
Qualifications (required):
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications (preferred):
- 2 or more years of experience in wound care management or related field (preferred).
- Certification in Wound Care.
