Job Summary
Our client is seeking dependable Material Handlers to support recycling and material movement operations within a fast-paced facility. This role is responsible for moving recyclable materials throughout the facility, conducting material grading, and evaluating materials for appropriate sale destinations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

- Move materials throughout the facility using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, hoists, and cranes, as required
- Load materials into vehicles and secure loads using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Use PC tablets to send and receive information including part numbers, quantities, locations, and work comments
- Transport materials from storage areas or work sites to designated processing or staging areas
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials, or mark required information on cases, bales, or containers
- Accurately document work performed in accordance with operational requirements
- Conduct material audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical examination, and background check, including prior employment and criminal history
- High school diploma or GED
- Zero to four years of related work experience
- High school diploma or GED with additional or specialized training
- Zero to four years of material handling or industrial experience

- Environment may include exposure to heat, cold, dirt, odors, and noise for most of the workday
