Overview:
We are seeking a Material Handler for a short-term assignments (4–6 weeks and 10 weeks with possible extension). This is a full-time, onsite role in East Granby, CT. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00am–4:30pm, with no weekend work required. Candidates must have forklift experience.

We are seeking a Material Handler for a short-term assignments (4–6 weeks and 10 weeks with possible extension). This is a full-time, onsite role in East Granby, CT. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00am–4:30pm, with no weekend work required. Candidates must have forklift experience.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate up to $19.50
- One onsite interview with the hiring manager
- Accurately receive, stock, and deliver materials to support production and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, or similar equipment.
- Verify parts, quantities, and complete bills of lading for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety rules and 6S standards.
- Prior forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments involving inventory management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months or more of relevant experience.
- Ability to become forklift certified.
- Experience with warehouse technology, inventory systems, or shipping confirmation processes.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials.
- Occasional lifting or pushing/pulling of up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to temperature changes, dust, and moderate noise levels.
- Standard weekday shift schedule with minimal overtime requirements
