Location: Jacksonville, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for leading day-to-day quality engineering activities while supervising Quality Technicians and Inspectors. The Quality Supervisor ensures product and process conformity, drives root cause corrective actions, and strengthens overall quality system effectiveness.This position plays a key leadership role in developing the quality team and supporting plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership and Team Management
• Supervise and develop Quality Technicians and Inspectors
• Provide daily direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback
• Build a strong, accountable, and engaged quality teamProduct and Process Quality
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and internal specifications
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances, customer complaints, and audit findings
• Review and approve quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, work instructions, and deviation requests
• Support and drive APQP activities including PFMEA, control plans, and process validationQuality Systems and Compliance
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 preferred)
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings
• Monitor key quality metrics such as PPM, cost of poor quality, scrap, rework, and returns
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes and reduce defectsCross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve quality issues
• Provide quality support for new product introductions, supplier concerns, and process changes
• Communicate quality risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to leadership Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
• 3+ years of experience leading or supervising teams
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis)
• Experience working within a formal Quality Management System (ISO 9001 preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in HVAC, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environment
• Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
• Customer-facing quality experience
• Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams Growth and Development
