Maintenance Repair Technician I
Location: Warwick, RIPay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated material handling equipment and conveyor systems in a fast-paced operational environment. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or facilities operations.

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated material handling equipment and conveyor systems in a fast-paced operational environment. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or facilities operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment and conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond to equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
- Document maintenance activities and repair work within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability efforts.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass background and security requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with automated conveyor systems.
- Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience with 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
