Machine Operator- N Wilkesboro, NC- 3rd Shift $18.49 per hour  Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Supervisor/Manager, the Machine Operator is responsible for operating multi-axis equipment and trim saws (including PUR processes) to manufacture doors according to specifications. This role includes quality monitoring, minor machine adjustments, and supporting preventive maintenance while maintaining safety and productivity standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and adjust multi-axis machines and trim saws to meet product specifications
  • Monitor product quality and correct defects promptly
  • Perform minor machine adjustments and assist with preventive maintenance
  • Operate PUR line equipment, including pinch rollers, trim saws, and curing systems
  • Maintain productivity, housekeeping, and equipment cleanliness
  • Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines; report unsafe conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior machine operation or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure; basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and moving machinery
  • Requires standing/walking for extended periods and strong visual acuity
  • ADA accommodations considered
