Job SummaryUnder direct supervision, the Laborer performs a variety of general manual labor tasks to support landfill operations. This role involves assisting with site maintenance, material handling, and operational support activities to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Perform general manual labor tasks, including:
- Lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles and equipment
- Digging, filling, and site preparation activities
- Assist with grounds maintenance:
- Mowing grass
- Trimming vegetation
- Maintaining safe and clean work areas
- Operate basic equipment in a support or assisting capacity
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors
- Required: High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: 0–4 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments
- Basic understanding of safety practices
- Dependability and ability to follow instructions
- Frequent physical activity, including lifting and handling objects (typically under 30 lbs)
- Occasional exposure to:
- Dirt, dust, odors, and noise
- Weather extremes (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Occupational hazards (cuts, burns, etc.)
- Work is primarily performed in a manual labor, outdoor landfill environment
