- Respond to written and verbal customer inquiries, including placing new orders, following up on existing orders, and resolving issues.
- Enter sales leads, quotes, and confirmed sales into the system for tracking and processing.
- Process customer-related paperwork, including credit applications, freight quotes, custom color matches, returns, and duplicate invoice requests.
- Follow up on confirmed sales to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to support sales objectives and business growth.
- Manage dealer account information, including commission tracking.
- Maintain and update the customer database with accurate contact information.
- Provide customers with requested paperwork, such as supplier forms and minority certificates.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service is required.
- Experience in sales or manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
