Position: Inside Sales Representative
Type: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours/weekPay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join the team at a leading U.S.-based manufacturer and supplier of facility safety and maintenance products! In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for customers, helping with orders, answering questions, and providing outstanding service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting sales growth, and being part of a dynamic team.

Job Summary: As the Inside Sales Rep, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, supporting the inside sales team by processing orders, managing accounts, and resolving inquiries. You will help ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate information, coordinating shipments, and assisting with account needs. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting sales growth, and contributing to overall business success.Essential Job Functions:

  • Respond to written and verbal customer inquiries, including placing new orders, following up on existing orders, and resolving issues.
  • Enter sales leads, quotes, and confirmed sales into the system for tracking and processing.
  • Process customer-related paperwork, including credit applications, freight quotes, custom color matches, returns, and duplicate invoice requests.
  • Follow up on confirmed sales to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to support sales objectives and business growth.
  • Manage dealer account information, including commission tracking.
  • Maintain and update the customer database with accurate contact information.
  • Provide customers with requested paperwork, such as supplier forms and minority certificates.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service is required.
  • Experience in sales or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
