Job Description

We have a great client that is looking for an IT Project Coordinator in Detroit, MI! This is a long-term, 100% remote, contract that is scheduled to go through December 2026.  The pay rate is up to $30.18 per hour. (US based candidates only) Job Summary:
 The Project Coordinator duties will be to support the Project Management Office (PMO)
 and assist project managers in the coordination of processes, administration, reporting,
 and project execution. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for managing
 smaller projects, as assigned. Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager and PMO Leadership to ensure project documents are
     correctly organized and attributed.
  • Assist with scheduling deadlines and maintaining project deliverables schedules for
     multiple projects.
  • Assist with subcontractor/vendor process.
  • Attend project meetings as needed.
  •  Coordinate and track internal initiatives for PMO.
  • Track project deliverables as they move through the approval process.
  • Coordinate small to medium size projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Coordinate application teams and ensure timely execution of the various tasks.
  • Coordinate PMO/Project meetings including logistics, conference bridges and
     distribution lists.
  • Document meeting minutes and follow-up on action items.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree or higher (preferably in Project Management or a related field)
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Hospital or clinical background required
  • Schedule and lead cadence meetings
  • Assist with various projects and meetings
  • Take ownership of smaller projects
  • Work cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong Communication Skills: This role requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Candidates must be comfortable facilitating large meetings with cross-functional groups.
  • Basic Project Management (PM) Skills: While this role will be supported by seasoned team members, the ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in project management, including organizing tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Experience in Fast-Paced Environments: The work environment is dynamic, involving large-scale projects that require adaptability, quick decision-making, and strong organizational skills.
