Our client, a large publicly traded firm, is committed to building a high-performing talent acquisition culture that is passionate about identifying, attracting, and engaging top diverse talent for critical operations and engineering roles. We are seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in a hybrid capacity in Detroit, MI.

We are seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in a hybrid capacity in Detroit, MI.
Responsibilities
- Source diverse talent for challenging engineering, IT, strategy, and corporate staff positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to assess candidates against defined role requirements.
- Represent the company at recruiting events such as virtual job fairs and career days.
- Promote the employer brand and communicate the company’s total rewards offering to prospective candidates.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including system configuration and workflow optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other HR teams (HRIS, Benefits, Consulting, etc.) to support enterprise-wide talent goals.
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of professional HR experience; corporate or RPO recruiting preferred.
- Strong sourcing and recruitment skills with an appreciation for diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities; proven experience in team- or project-oriented recruiting initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic HR challenges, embrace new approaches, and deliver positive outcomes.
- Proficiency with MS Office, ATS platforms (Taleo, SuccessFactors, iCIMS, etc.), and Internet recruiting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates and collaborate with all levels of management.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and act independently within established processes and procedures.
