Job Description
Our client is looking for an HR Analyst / Centralization Analyst in Auburn Hills, MI! This is a contract opportunity (possible extension or direct hire for the right candidate). Description: This role supports the HR Centralization Team by processing HR transactions for facilities across the U.S. and Canada. The HR Analyst reviews, audits, and inputs employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and internal controls.

Responsibilities
- Processing high-volume transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and leaves
- Auditing data for accuracy between Workday and the legacy PeopleSoft payroll system
- Returning incorrect or incomplete transactions with clear guidance and partnering with HR, talent teams, and plant-based personnel to resolve questions.
- The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand full HR process flows, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes due to the ongoing Workday implementation.
- Candidates must maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive data and may also support mass upload activities (EIB) depending on skill level.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Workday experience strongly preferred (experience with other HRIS platforms required)
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, particularly when coaching HR partners
- Prior experience in high-volume transactional environments, with manufacturing exposure considered a plus.
- The role includes both independent task work and collaboration with the HR Centralization Team and offers strong foundational experience for future HR career growth.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday, PeopleSoft and COGNOS or other reporting tools
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office products
