Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment during the Crew F shift. This individual will lead a team of maintenance professionals responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, facility performance, and workplace safety while supporting production objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance initiatives, and team development.

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment during the Crew F shift. This individual will lead a team of maintenance professionals responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, facility performance, and workplace safety while supporting production objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance initiatives, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to support daily facility and production operations.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, and procurement of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building infrastructure.
- Respond to equipment failures and facility emergencies, driving rapid resolution and corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to enhance technical skills and leadership capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor key maintenance metrics and implement action plans to improve performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.
- Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
