Schedule: Full-time | Long-Term Contract with Possibility of Extension or Direct Hire

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations at their Tifton facility. This role is critical in ensuring safe and efficient handling of raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

This role is critical in ensuring safe and efficient handling of raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks supporting daily shipping, receiving, and internal transfers.
- Inventory Tracking: Complete warehouse requisition paperwork by Lot# and quantity to maintain accurate tracking of material movements.
- Compliance: Ensure all outbound shipments comply with DOT, IMDG, IATA, and FIFRA regulations.
- FIFO and Segregation: Follow First-In-First-Out practices and support adherence to site storage and segregation policies.
- Housekeeping & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment; inspect and document forklift and equipment condition daily.
- Inventory Audits: Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory checks, assisting with discrepancy resolution.
- SAP Use: Review inventory status, update receipts/shipments, and resolve issues within SAP with minimal support.
- Cross-Training: Serve as back-up for shipping/receiving tasks and support daily warehouse shutdown procedures.
- Training & Certifications: Complete all required safety and regulatory training, including HAZWOPER and DOT-related programs.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Experience: 1–5 years of warehouse and forklift operation experience (forklift certification will be provided on-site, regardless of current status)
- Skills:
- Strong math and communication abilities
- Good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with SAP or similar warehouse systems preferred
- Prior exposure to shipping, receiving, and production environments
