Job Description

Our client is looking for DME Medical Billers in Howell, MI!
This contract opportunity with starting pay rate between $22 to $24/hour (benefits are available).Position is 100% onsite. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
They are looking to fill a Medicaid Biller, Medicare Advantage Biller, and a BCBS Biller.
Qualifications:

3 to 5 years’ experience
DME Medical Billing experience
Facility or Physician billing experience
High School Graduate
Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, communicate clearly and politely with customers, referral sources and other health care team members.
Ability to work independently, but collaboratively

Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable of all & adheres to all applicable policies, procedures, and patient protocol.
Compliant with government regulations and professional standards.
Conducts him/herself as a professional representative, bearing in mind that his/her conduct and appearance reflect the entire organization.
Promotes and maintains a company environment which is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Knowledgeable of insurance billing rules, regulations and guidelines.
Answers telephone according to company policy.
Learn all billing responsibilities and be competent to step in for other billers.
Timely receipt of benefits assigned to the company and works with insurance companies and other funding entities to ensure prompt payment.
Review insurance updates and fee schedules and update in the computer and file accordingly.
Present insurance updates to the staff.
Post bills daily.
Get output reports and process.
Post and work daily vouchers.
Print and work aged reports.
Receive and process output reports
Medicare input and output reports.
Print and work Medicare aged report.
Print and work Rejection reports.
Post and work Medicare vouchers.
Print and work Medicare unbilled reports
Daily access calls
Input reports.
Print hard copy claims, review and process yours. Dispense others.
Work/process pending and new authorizations.
Monthly: print and work expiring prior authorization report.
Review/deposit cash-outs.
Check pending eligibility patients as needed.
