Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support upcoming software integration projects in the defense sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment, delivering high-quality software solutions throughout the full product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in Agile environments.
This is a long-term contract opportunity in New Hudson, MI with an hourly pay rate of $50.00-$55.00/hr.

This is a long-term contract opportunity in New Hudson, MI with an hourly pay rate of $50.00-$55.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deliver software solutions individually and as part of a team.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, as well as external partners, on defense-related initiatives.
- Participate in requirements gathering and contribute to solution architecture and design.
- Maintain adherence to established coding standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to projects as appropriate.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Apply Agile methodologies to improve workflows and ensure timely delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, and .NET.
- Experience working with Agile methods.
- Experience with defense or aerospace projects.
- Familiarity with various network architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, and version control practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or simulation tools.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours with flexibility during project peaks.
- Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite (may fluctuate with project phases).
- Travel: 5–10% domestic, mainly for local or U.S.-based project needs.
- Interview Process: HR phone screen → Virtual/video interview with hiring manager & team.
