We are seeking a motivated Engineer with strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. This role will focus on the design, integration, testing, and validation of complex systems for heavy-duty vehicles. Overview
We are seeking a motivated Engineer with strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. This role will focus on the design, integration, testing, and validation of complex systems for heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, collaborative, and eager to take ownership of challenging engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, cost-effective vehicle components.
- Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and design work.
- Support system integration and execution for vehicle and component design.
- Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
- Conduct engineering analysis to select parts, components, and materials.
- Provide technical support for production and resolve engineering issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Create technical documentation, reports, and proposals.
- Mentor junior engineers, designers, or technicians.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or Software).
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on curiosity.
- Full-time onsite availability in Oshkosh, WI.
- Experience in electro-mechanical system integration.
- Knowledge of root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in product testing, labs, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD design tools and modeling.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with data acquisition tools and analysis techniques.
- Prior exposure to military or defense-related systems (a plus).
- Knowledge of video signal design and transmission systems.
