Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and develop heavy-duty vehicle components that are functional, reliable, and cost-effective. This role supports engineering projects by performing calculations, creating technical documentation, and assisting in the development of new and existing products.

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and develop heavy-duty vehicle components that are functional, reliable, and cost-effective. This role supports engineering projects by performing calculations, creating technical documentation, and assisting in the development of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and support design analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
- Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Support production with technical assistance and resolve engineering issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and business support functions.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company engineering standards and processes.
- Utilize CAD systems and analytical methods to optimize designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 6 months of related work experience or engineering internship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with advanced CAD systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Skilled in technical communication, documentation, and reporting.
- Capable of adapting to structured processes and project requirements.
- Routine shift hours with occasional overtime.
- Combination of office and shop floor environment.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and computer use.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
