About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Chemical Production Operator for an onsite role at their Jackson, MI facility. This position plays a critical role in manufacturing operations and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Load drums and sacks with finished solid chemical products
- Perform basic chemical process operations
- Troubleshoot equipment and maintain clean, safe work areas
- Complete daily documentation and adhere to production requirements
- Report safety violations or hazards
- Support operational activities as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as needed
- Experience in a chemical production setting preferred
- Basic SAP knowledge and computer skills preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Demonstrated strong work habits: attendance, safety, housekeeping
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs
- Must be able to wear face shields/goggles and all required PPE
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
