CI-Q Excellence Group Leader
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Plant CI–Q Excellence Group Leader to join our Quality team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role will lead the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Operating Systems (QOS), and Process Management Tools (PMT). The position plays a key role in building a strong quality culture while ensuring systems meet business, customer, and regulatory expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team focused on Q-Excellence, QMS, QOS, and PMT system strategy, deployment, and continuous improvementDrive end-to-end quality systems lifecycle including startup, integration, validation, training, and ongoing supportGather system requirements, incorporate user feedback, and implement best practices to enhance system effectiveness and usabilityPartner with IT, cross-functional leaders, and external vendors to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and compliantSupport manufacturing and supplier quality integration to ensure consistent and efficient processes across the organizationLead and support internal and external audits, including ISO and IATF certification activitiesMonitor system performance, identify risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvementProvide coaching, training, and guidance to users, strengthening a culture of quality, collaboration, and accountabilitySupport data analysis and reporting efforts to improve quality data accuracy, visibility, and decision-makingLead or support special projects focused on continuous improvement, data optimization, and quality excellence initiativesContribute to defining and standardizing quality processes, methods, and tools across the organization
QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of quality standards and tools such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSAProven experience implementing, integrating, and supporting QMS and QOS systemsExperience working with PLM, MES, and ERP systems preferredCertified or experienced internal/external auditor in VDA, ISO, or IATF standardsStrong project management, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong technical writing and documentation skillsHigh integrity and ability to make data-driven decisionsComfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
