About the RoleWe’re seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support our Supply Chain leadership and Strategic Category Managers in achieving cost savings, supplier diversity goals, and on-time delivery of critical materials. This role plays a key part in ensuring our procurement processes are efficient, strategic, and aligned with organizational objectives.

About the RoleWe’re seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support our Supply Chain leadership and Strategic Category Managers in achieving cost savings, supplier diversity goals, and on-time delivery of critical materials. This role plays a key part in ensuring our procurement processes are efficient, strategic, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement processes to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, commercial terms, and contract administration.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance operational needs with cost control.
- Provide day-to-day procurement operations, issue change orders, and maintain contract documentation.
- Evaluate total cost of ownership and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Resolve invoice and supplier issues in coordination with AP and business units.
- Respond to urgent or emergency orders and support expediting functions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Economics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion-dollar contracts and meet business deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract terms and compliance.
- Experience in solar or renewable energy procurement.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black Belt certification.
- Familiarity with supplier diversity programs and strategic sourcing.
