Job Description
Our client, a respected Healthcare Retreat Center, is looking for compassionate and skilled LPN Charge Nurses to join their care team and provide high-quality care in a supportive, team focused environment. Clarkston, MI.
Shift Details: Flexible shifts! 6:00am to 2:30p or 2:00pm-10:30pm
Pay Rate: Days: $32.35, Nights: $33.96

Key aspects of the job include the following:
- Oversee and coordinate resident care to ensure continuity and quality across shifts
- Supervise nurse aides, medication technicians, and LPNs, providing guidance and accountability
- Support the Director of Nursing with staffing, planning, and compliance
- Assess resident needs, develop care plans, and lead care conferences
- Administer medications, treatments, injections, and IV therapies as needed
- Act as a mentor, encouraging professional growth and fostering a culture of respect and compassion
- Ensure timely documentation, follow-ups, and communication with patients and staff
- Active Michigan LPN license
- 1–3 years of nursing management experience (long-term or acute care preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- Ability to work with residents experiencing a wide range of health and emotional needs
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, patient-centered environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and handle the physical demands of patient care
- Work may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally challenging setting
