Job Description
We are working closely with a team who is a specialist in state-of-the-art welding and fabrication. This team is looking to add experienced Welders to join their team in Baraga, Michigan.
The Welder is responsible for the fit-up and welding of components to produce products in a timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in our industry.

The Welder is responsible for the fit-up and welding of components to produce products in a timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in our industry.
What We Offer:
- $18 – $26 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Weekly paycheck.

- Skill development and safety training.
- Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 6am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am – 10am.
- Maintain effective welding operations to meet customer demand and provide on-time delivery.
- Fabricate complex weldments in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
- Operate a forklift; training provided.
- Take ownership of organizing and cleaning work area.
- Take initiative to help other production areas as needed.
- Communicate with the Leadership Team when necessary.
- Self-motivation and excellent work ethic, required.
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience working as a welder or having completed a formal welding program from a recognized technical school/institute is required.
- Possess welding certification, or the ability and willingness to become AWS certified.
- Read and understand welding blueprints.
- Read and utilize precise measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
- Ability to balance a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Someone able to follow business policies and safe work practices.
