Location: Dodge Center, MN
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Fridays typically 8 hours; occasional Saturday work may be required.
Pay: $23-$37.44/hr
Position OverviewThe Tooling Technician is responsible for repairing and building jigs, fixtures, and tools to support production changes and new product launches. This role involves troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues, operating shop equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Technicians also assist with training new team members and collaborate closely with engineers. Key Responsibilities

- Build and repair tools, jigs, and fixtures using 2D drawings and GD&T standards
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems
- Operate CNC machines, cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely
- Perform preventive maintenance on jigs and fixtures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support overtime and weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines
- Certified Senior Welder
- Forklift Certification
- 5+ years of welding experience
- Experience operating CNC machines
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication and technical equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to PPE requirements
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and tolerate standing for extended periods
