Job Description
Our client, a major healthcare system, is seeking a bilingual Receptionist to join their team in Glendale, CA!
Pay: $19.00 -$20.66/ hour
Shift: 8a-5p
*Candidate must be bilingual English/Spanish OR English/Armenian – Highly preferred. *
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Verify health insurance coverage.
- Review patient demographics and medical administrative forms such as consents, privacy/HIPAA forms, etc.
- Greet patients entering organization,
- Answer multi-lined phone and make outbound calls to assist patients with appointment scheduling.
- Monitor incoming/outgoing faxes and distribute to staff accordingly.
Job Requirements
Receptionist Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a medical setting in a front office role.
- Must be bilingual. English/Spanish OR English/Armenian.
- Working knowledge of patient registration using EPIC - Preferred
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fully Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted.
